Own your thesis.Tools only sharpen it.

Understand what your work really needs, build it yourself, and keep every tool you use logged and rule-checked.

What is Praxis

Praxis is theory turned into practice you can defend.

The word praxis describes the moment where what you have read becomes what you actually do. That is the idea behind this workspace: a master's thesis is not a document you generate, it is a process you go through. Praxis gives that process a structure, so every reading, decision and draft leaves a trace you can point to.

Understand before you write

Milestones, curated readings and the Kick-off Page tell you what each stage of the thesis really asks for, so you start from understanding instead of from a blank prompt.

Work in the open

Your writing desk, project plan and supervisor exchanges live in one place, so progress is visible and feedback lands where the work actually happens.

Use AI honestly

Every tool you use is logged and rule-checked as you go, so the AI Statement and AI Directory come out of your real practice, not from memory at the end.

Two methodology tracks

Choose how you will produce knowledge.

Basic Science

Available now

You start from theory and a research gap. You formulate a research question, derive hypotheses or propositions from the literature, collect empirical data (survey, interviews, archival, experiment) and test or interpret it. The contribution is explanatory knowledge: you explain why something happens.

  • Output: an empirical study with findings and theoretical implications.
  • Evaluated on rigour of design, sampling and analysis.
  • Full workspace: milestones A-1 → A-5, Kick-off Page, library, AI log.

Design Science

Coming soon

You start from a real organisational problem. Instead of only explaining it, you design and evaluate an artefact, a method, a framework, a tool or a process, and demonstrate that it works in context. The contribution is prescriptive knowledge: what to do to solve the problem.

  • Output: a validated artefact plus design principles.
  • Evaluated on problem relevance, design rigour and demonstrated utility.
  • Dedicated milestones and templates are in preparation.

Support

Need help using the workspace?

Support covers how the workspace works: setting it up, filling in the milestones, the Kick-off Page builder, the library or the AI log. We do not write or review your thesis, that part stays yours.
